一体化设计是在考虑建筑自身的气候环境和功能需求之后，将外遮阳构件与建筑的多个立面空间复合化设计，如：屋顶、阳台、外廊、墙面等，使这些构件与建筑浑然一体，创造出与众不同的建筑立面；对于外遮阳产品本身上作出一体化设计，比如下图的湘联遮阳一体化窗，就是组合了铝合金隔热断桥窗、纱窗与外遮阳卷帘的综合型遮阳。
